Job Title: Entry Level Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts to assist in case analysis.
- Assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents, including medical records, for comprehensive case understanding.
- Prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, and analyze medical records in preparation for trial.
- Contact outside sources, such as government agencies, to obtain public information, review, and analyze the same.
- Search and retrieve information from court-related databases and other online sources of case information for case preparation.
- Review, analyze, and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants to ensure comprehensive case documentation.
- Assist in document productions to support litigation processes.
- Draft subpoenas, notices of deposition, and pattern discovery requests to facilitate legal proceedings.
- Conduct investigative research on opposing parties and expert witnesses to gather relevant information.
- Manage documents and organize case files for efficient retrieval and case management.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must have an associate’s degree from an ABA Approved Paralegal Studies Program or a bachelor’s degree.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for managing complex legal documentation.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, are essential.
- Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily.
- Must be able to work independently and be proactive in handling assigned tasks.
