Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, deposition digests, and case summaries.
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files.
- Drafting document preservation and litigation hold memoranda, and supporting litigation teams with implementation.
- Performing a variety of document production tasks, including collection, hosting, review, redaction, bates-stamping, duplicating, and indexing.
- Preparing and submitting electronic filings with Federal and state courts.
- Preparing for and attending, as necessary, depositions and trials.
- Performing a variety of research projects as assigned.
- Regularly interacting with the law firm's clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Providing overflow support as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and practices.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2017 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), WestLaw, Internet research skills, litigation management software, and document management systems.
- Experienced with document collection, preservation, hosting, review, and electronic document production platforms and software.
- Familiarity with evidentiary hearings, litigation management tools, and trial presentation software is a plus.
Salary Information:
- Salary range: $85,000-$100,000.
Additional Information:
- Candidate would be in the office 5 days a week for a trial period of 60 days. Thereafter, the candidate will be in the office four days a week, with one day remote.
