This full-time position offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite.

As the Risk Management – Client Matter Lifecycle Clerk, you will be responsible for handling billing setup for Partners and legal assistants. This includes inputting and maintaining client billing information in the accounting database, reviewing and verifying accuracy of billing setup, and ensuring that initial matter billing aligns with client guidelines. You will also communicate with attorneys, billing team, and other staff to support the successful flow of billing information within the New Business Intake workflow. Additionally, you will assist with driving standardization and innovation alongside future growth, as well as performing other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience in general accounting practices. You should also have at least 1 year of experience with legal and/or electronic billing processes and practices, and prior experience with Aderant or Elite billing systems is preferred. Strong Excel skills are required, as well as the ability to analyze financial data. You should also have a curious, analytical mindset and be comfortable dealing with legal documents and contracts. The ability to multitask in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented, fast-paced environment is also essential for this role.
