JOB TITLE: Receptionist
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and attend to clients and guests promptly and courteously, maintaining an upbeat and pleasant attitude at all times.
- Perform various administrative duties including mailings, managing office paperwork, organizing files, reviewing and documenting information for new hires, and revising the firm's receptionist manual.
- Answer and direct incoming and internal telephone calls promptly; communicate with attorneys and clients professionally, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Maintain conference room calendars and coordinate with Office Services/Hospitality to ensure proper arrangements are made for meal ordering.
- Responsible for credit card reconciliation as needed.
- Accept and log all FedEx, UPS, and courier deliveries; retrieve . mail.
- Issue work orders for repairs as needed.
- Assist Legal Administrative Assistants (LAAs) and other staff with assigned projects.
- Interact positively with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE INFORMATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; some college is a plus.
- 1-3 years of prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role required.
- Notary certification preferred.
- Experience in a professional business environment preferred; experience in the legal sector is a plus.
- Excellent oral communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and strong problem-solving skills required.
- Must possess a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Knowledge of phone systems required.
SALARY INFORMATION
Starting compensation is determined by a range of factors including background and experience. The expected hourly rate for this position starts between and , depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
- Ability to occasionally or routinely lift up to 10 - 20 lbs. required.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions required.
- Ability to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print.
