Job Title: Receptionist (Law Office/ Bilingual/ Spanish and English)

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person within the law firm.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain the office call log diligently.
- Manage the various office calendars effectively.
- Schedule meetings and appointments as required.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries efficiently.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Education and Experience Information:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- High school diploma is required (an AA degree or higher is a plus).
- Experience working in a professional office for one year or more is preferred, with a preference for experience in a law office.
- Professional attitude and appearance are essential.
- A customer service attitude is necessary.
- A genuine interest in immigration law and advancing the interests of the immigrant community is important.
- Must have empathy for and a desire to help the immigrant community.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers is needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills are required.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, are essential.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role is a plus.
