Job Title: Reporting Intelligence Manager - (Flexible Schedule)

Job Responsibilities:
The Reporting Intelligence Manager at the law firm leads the reporting arm of the Client Intelligence team, ensuring the intake, execution, and quality of cross-functional data requests. The role encompasses client intelligence and related market, competitive, and talent intelligence, closely coordinating with the financial intelligence team. Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and implementing scalable self-service and automated reporting systems to meet growing demand, ensuring timely and impactful delivery of insights.
- Re-engineering reporting workflows and developing standardized templates to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Auditing, managing, and maintaining internal reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Creating and upholding reporting standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Taking a proactive, consultative role in refining reporting outputs to ensure stakeholders receive strategically aligned insights.
- Managing the queue of reporting and data requests, setting expectations, and ensuring delivery aligned with user sophistication.
- Partnering with internal business units to uncover emerging analytics needs and contribute reporting insights for decision-making.
- Fostering strong alliances within Client Intelligence and across the firm to support shared ownership of reporting priorities and data use.
- Supporting ad hoc reporting and data analysis projects for various departments.
- Building and maintaining deep expertise in the firm’s data ecosystem, including CRM, data warehouse, billing systems, and other key data sources.
- Staying current on business intelligence and data manipulation tools used within the firm.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating data sources and analysis methods for reliability, quality, and fitness for purpose.
- Documenting and maintaining definitions of metrics and terminology used in reporting deliverables.
- Developing and implementing training programs for analysts, focusing on efficient use of data sources, tools, and standard processes.
- Mentoring and coaching information and data analysts to support skill-building and reporting excellence.
- Developing an understanding of key clients, their businesses, and the firm’s lawyer/client relationships to inform reporting context.
- Identifying recurring data needs and building tools and processes to streamline response and drive strategic alignment across reports.
- Developing and maintaining a consistent internal brand for reporting deliverables.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, including at least 3 years managing teams. Experience managing a high volume of reporting and analytics requests from cross-functional stakeholders is essential. Desired experience includes working in consulting, legal, or other professional environments that require continuous learning and the ability to communicate complex issues to business stakeholders. Proven success in working with global, virtual teams is also desired.

Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in database querying using SQL.
- Proficient in data visualization tools, with a preference for Tableau.
- Experienced in data analysis tools, including Excel.

Familiarity with Best Practices and Tools:
- Data visualization best practices.
- Project management tools.
- Data warehouses, with a preference for Snowflake.
- Wireframing.
- UI/UX best practices.
- UAT Processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Strategic Data Insights Senior Analyst(s), Information Analyst(s).

Essential Job Functions:

Working Conditions:
- Required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasionally work hours in excess of the normal daily schedule.

Salary Information:
- Pittsburgh, Miami, Richmond, Denver, Atlanta, Texas Offices: $136,000 - $154,000
- Chicago, Philadelphia, Wilmington: $145,000 - $165,000
- Tysons, Princeton, .: $155,000 - $176,000
