Your Role

As an Assistant General Counsel, you will provide leadership and legal advice to business partners, focusing on employment law-related matters. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other attorneys and lead cross-department projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Devising a strategy and execution plan for the Employment Law Practice Group
- Providing advice and counsel on day-to-day employment-related matters
- Staying informed on industry changes and trends to provide tailored recommendations
- Reviewing and drafting company policies and procedures
- Conducting legal reviews and representing Guardian at the administrative level
- Assisting with colleague relations and compliance investigations
- Identifying training needs and delivering training on employment law topics
- Assisting with company M&A efforts
- Developing professional relationships and managing outside counsel

What You Need

- Law degree (. or equivalent) and bar admission
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong legal research and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Project management skills

Salary Information

- $174, - $287, (salary range)
- Salary will be determined based on education, experience, and abilities
- Eligible for additional annual, sales, or incentive compensation
