Job Title: Performance Management Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Performance Management Coordinator is responsible for administering the performance review processes for all professionals at the law firm. The role involves managing the performance review system (viEval), including creating and maintaining review forms and surveys, generating reports, and resolving software issues. The coordinator acts as the primary contact for performance review process inquiries and is in charge of tracking the progress and completion of verbal and written reviews. They must send reminders to ensure deadlines are met for all review functions.
Key duties include identifying and tracking areas for process improvement, working with committees to evaluate potential changes to processes, templates, and forms, and collaborating with the accounting department to import relevant matters for the review period. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining electronic binders and process documents in real-time, researching and analyzing historical data, and maintaining up-to-date professional lists throughout the review cycle.
Additional responsibilities include drafting high-level communications to professionals, maintaining the Real Time Feedback Tool, providing administrative support to the Associate Leadership Committee, assisting with surveys, and working on other initiatives and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in Performance Management, Professional Development, Training, Organizational Development, or Human Resources. Having at least one year of experience with a law firm or professional services organization is highly preferred. The candidate must be client service-oriented, able to relate to people at all levels within the firm, and comfortable holding people accountable for their roles and responsibilities.
The candidate should handle sensitive matters with discretion, exhibit sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. They should possess excellent analytical and mathematical skills, be able to plan, implement, and evaluate projects and programs, and have finely developed written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, viDesktop (highly preferred), and Adobe Pro are required.
Salary Information:
The base annual pay range for this role is between $67,000 and $77,000. The base pay offered will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location, taking into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits will be offered, dependent on the position.
