Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing new matter memos for accuracy and completeness
- Following up on incomplete or inaccurate new matter memos
- Analyzing engagement letters, scope letters, and waivers
- Opening new matters and assigning billing numbers
- Performing general client and matter maintenance
- Adhering to all firm and department policies and procedures
- Assisting with keeping all shared documents up-to-date
- Training and mentoring Jr. Business Intake Specialists
- Other related tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably with large law firm Business Intake
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong research, computer, and database skills
- Ability to train and mentor new Business Intake Specialists
