Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Elevate code quality by championing test-driven development, code hygiene, and clean architecture across the team.
- Lead agile delivery processes such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and incremental delivery with a focus on iteration and value delivery.
- Design and implement scalable and robust systems across backend (Python/FastAPI), frontend (React), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive technical alignment through leading code reviews, design reviews, and engineering discussions, ensuring thoughtful, well-documented decisions.
- Champion documentation by authoring and reviewing technical design documents to guide team implementation and maintain long-term clarity.
- Design systems with resilience in mind, focusing on fault tolerance, observability, and graceful degradation, and guide the team in applying principles of reliability and operational excellence.
- Lead incident response processes, drive actionable postmortems, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment on roadmap priorities and delivery timelines.
Education and Experience Information:
- Experience with Python (FastAPI), React, and AWS is essential.
- Full-Stack/Front-end Experience and React Experience are considered advantageous.
Salary Information:
The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 USD, contingent upon various factors including relevant experience, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
