Job Title: Real Estate Escrow Accounting Professional
Job Responsibilities:
The Real Estate Escrow Accounting Professional at the law firm will be responsible for performing day-to-day processing of various accounting transactions and providing support to ensure the law firm’s financial processes, planning, reporting, and analytics are best in class. The specific responsibilities include:
- Maintaining reports of all files scheduled to close and fund on a particular day
- Performing quality control to match disbursement ledgers to settlement statements and ensuring the file is balanced
- Confirming that wiring instructions are accurate
- Initiating and approving wires within the online banking system
- Following up and resolving any matters pertaining to rejected or returned wires
- Engaging in data entry and report review
- Detecting and correcting accounting errors
- Assisting the Accounting Controller in other duties as needed
Candidates should have a passion for numbers and strong technical ability. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. Professional communication with clients, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and exceptional customer service skills are essential. Experience with SoftPro is considered a plus.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal applicant should have experience in real estate escrow accounting. While specific educational requirements are not detailed, the candidate must possess the necessary skills and experience relevant to the responsibilities outlined. Experience with SoftPro software will be advantageous.

Other Information:
