Job Title: Case Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with clients from the start to the finish of their case, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive process.
- Communicate with clients to ensure all initiating documentation is complete and received in a timely manner.
- Routinely interact with Social Security employees to provide information pertinent to the processing of the claim and perform status checks.
- Regularly communicate with clients to keep them updated on the status of their case.
- Ensure that all pertinent information is shared between clients and attorneys, maintaining a seamless flow of communication.
- Exercise excellent time-management and organization skills, working productively under tight deadlines.
- Assist office support staff with daily office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Education and Experience Information:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Case Manager in a law firm or Paralegal in an office setting.
- Social Security Disability experience is preferred, but not required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent customer service, communication, time management, task organization skills, and listening skills are essential.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and case management software (Prevail is a plus).
- Ability to respond to difficult clients with kindness, patience, and professionalism.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Salary Information:
- Pay range is - per hour.
- The expected work schedule is full-time, with expected hours being 40 per week.
- The position offers benefits such as 401(k) and 401(k) matching.
- The work schedule consists of an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
