Job Title: Construction Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.
- Schedule and organize client meetings, hearings, and attorney conferences.
- Coordinate with court reporters, expert witnesses, and other services.
- Prepare expense reports and check requests.
- Manage attorneys' calendars and Outlook email.
- Assist with case screening, investigation, and e-filing pleadings.
- Prepare discovery documents and assist with pretrial preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience in insurance defense.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of court and administrative proceedings.
- Familiarity with lawsuit summaries, litigation files, and legal record maintenance.

The Construction Legal Assistant role at the law firm is a full-time, non-exempt position within the department. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 8-hour workdays totaling 40 hours per week.
