Job Title: Business Development Associate Director - Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Development Associate Director for the Litigation and IP Business Units at the law firm plays a crucial role in driving revenue opportunities and enhancing the firm's market presence. The responsibilities include:

- Strategic Planning and Coordination: Collaborating with senior leaders to develop go-to-market plans that align with Litigation OKRs, coaching partners on individual business plans, and developing metrics with BD Operations and the data analytics team to track progress.

- Thought Leadership: Working with the Campaign and Communications teams to deliver thought leadership that positions the firm as a Litigation leader and facilitates client conversations.

- Pitch Support and Content Development: Assisting partners in developing pitch strategies and value propositions, leading the drafting of Litigation pitches, RFPs, and presentations, and coaching partners to deliver a distinctive pitch experience.

- Client and Market Insights: Collaborating with Research and Business Intelligence and Data teams to share market intelligence, uncover revenue opportunities, and formulate plans to target new clients and broaden relationships with existing ones.

- Event Management and Communication: Providing input on Litigation events and preparing lawyers for conferences, seminars, and networking events.

- Storytelling: Helping communicate the firm’s Litigation story internally and externally, overseeing a library of key data points and metrics.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 8+ years of marketing experience in business development and marketing for Litigation practices.
- A strong track record in strategic planning, client service, and team collaboration, with a deep understanding of Litigation, including IP and Employment Law.
- Strong client service approach with the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills and project management skills.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
- Litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for the Business Development Associate Director position is:
- California Major Markets: $154,000 - $216,000
- New York City: $170,000 - $216,000
- National: $144,000 - $185,000

The level of pay within the range will depend on various job-related factors, including qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography.
