Job Title: Senior E-Billing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior E-Billing Specialist holds a vital position in the law firm's revenue cycle, focusing primarily on monitoring and resolving e-billing issues to ensure invoices are successfully submitted to clients for payment. This role is a key component of the collaborative Billing team and requires a deep understanding of the e-billing process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating all aspects of the e-billing process by communicating with client contacts, the billing team, and billing partners.
- Managing client reporting proactively to address both internal and external issues promptly.
- Assisting in the communication of newly identified timekeeper rates to clients on a monthly or ad-hoc basis, with appropriate tracking and follow-ups.
- Setting up new matters for e-billing with client contacts, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up.
- Supporting the billing team with invoice submissions via the E-Billing Hub, ensuring compliance with client billing requirements.
- Submitting invoices, managing inventory, and mapping client and matter specifications using the E-Billing Hub.
- Assisting with client accrual requests and coordinating the submission of estimates.
- Distributing adjustment/rejection notifications to the billing team and coordinating timely resubmissions.
- Navigating and understanding the functionality and nuances of all major e-billing sites such as LegalTracker, CounselLink, TyMetrix360, Collaborati, Passport, CounselGO, BillingPoint, and Corridor.
- Implementing an efficient organizational system for tracking and resolving ongoing issues with clients and firm contacts.
- Communicating and updating management on all e-billing related holdups and resolutions.
- Collaborating with billing team members to address e-billing requests.
- Documenting all aspects of the e-billing process for each client.
- Monitoring the progress of invoices for submission and resubmission, escalating issues when necessary.
- Conducting e-billing training sessions for billing staff and participating in firm-wide and departmental projects and initiatives.
- Using Excel functions to pull reports, create, and distribute them to billers for review and resolution of e-billing issues.
- Manipulating LEDES files, including LEDES1998, LEDES98BI, LEDES98BI V2, and XML, and troubleshooting technical issues for submission.
- Updating rates and split billing credit allocation into the 3E System.
- Performing normal billing tasks on an ad hoc basis and assisting with incoming and outgoing e-billing, split credit allocation, and billing-related inquiries.
- Executing special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of five (5) years of legal e-billing experience is required.
- Experience with eBillingHub is essential, and familiarity with 3E is advantageous.
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency with the MS Office Suite, are necessary.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines is required.

Computer Skills:
To successfully perform the job, proficiency in the following software is required:
- Strong MS Office Suite skills

Salary Information:
Compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
