Morgan & Morgan is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Team. This opportunity is available at any of our offices in Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa, Florida. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will play a key role in identifying and mitigating security risks for our clients. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in a similar role at a medium to large enterprise, as well as a deep understanding of modern languages and security frameworks.

Responsibilities include conducting threat modeling and risk analysis, collaborating with development teams to ensure secure design patterns, and implementing security standards and best practices. You will also have the opportunity to perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, as well as advise teams on emerging threats and secure coding techniques.

Requirements for this role include a working knowledge of web and application security standards, experience securing applications and APIs on cloud platforms, and proficiency in communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues. The ideal candidate will also have programming experience in Python, TypeScript, and C#, as well as a willingness to obtain relevant certifications within six months of hire.
