Job Title:
Labor & Employment - Associate (Mid-Level)

Job Responsibilities:
The Labor & Employment Associate will represent employers on both class and individual bases concerning various labor and employment issues. These include wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, and employment agreements. The role may also involve handling traditional labor (labor management) issues. The associate will work with clients from various industries across the country.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have a solid academic performance in law school and must be in good standing with the California State Bar. Ideal candidates will have experience representing employers in labor and employment matters. They should possess strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills, along with attention to detail. The desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career is essential.

Salary Information:
The expected pay range for this position is $250,000-$400,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs may include accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care, critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.

The group has nearly 200 practitioners globally and offers services focused on maximizing human resource potential. The trial team regularly handles complex cases, including three . Supreme Court Labor & Employment victories. The group also has extensive experience in class and collective litigation, maintaining positive labor relations, structuring corporate transactions, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, trying labor arbitrations, and assisting employers in managing their workforce.
