Job Responsibilities:
The Catering/Relief Receptionist position at the law firm involves a variety of responsibilities focused on managing the front desk and ensuring smooth operations related to client and visitor interactions, as well as catering services within the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Key responsibilities include:
- Covering the reception desk during the lead receptionist’s breaks and lunch hour, with a work shift from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
- Receiving and recording oral information from telephone callers or in-person visitors and communicating it to attorneys and business professionals.
- Operating a multi-line telephone console to manage incoming, outgoing, and intra-system calls.
- Directing telephone calls to the appropriate attorneys and business professionals.
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors, ensuring proper clearance and routing in accordance with firm policies, and notifying supervisors of difficult situations.
- Receiving and recording deliveries to the firm and routing them to the appropriate recipients.

Education and Experience Information:

Experience:

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in using electronic mail and basic computer functions, typically acquired through one to three months of coursework in touch typing.

- The ability to handle telephone calls and visitors, lift small delivery packages, operate telephone equipment, and record messages.
- The capability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
