Job Title: Assistant, Business Development - Digital Marketing
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant, Business Development - Digital Marketing at the law firm plays a crucial role in supporting the Digital Marketing team within the Business Development department. This role is integral to the firm's growth strategy by focusing on new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing vital administrative support to the Digital Marketing team, including managing the project management system (Microsoft Planner), creating and distributing surveys, updating team guides, and scheduling meetings.
- Performing administrative tasks within the marketing database, including onboarding and offboarding users, and maintaining user groups and proxy access.
- Offering general user support for the marketing database to administrative assistants, Business Development colleagues, and lawyers via email, phone, Zoom, and in-person meetings.
- Assisting in the creation and distribution of email analytics reports, tracking key metrics such as open rates, click rates, and engagement.
- Drafting and distributing thought leadership emails and webinar invitations using the law firm's email marketing software.
- Creating client update posts on the backend of the firm’s external website.
- Communicating and collaborating with lawyers to efficiently manage the process of publishing and distributing thought leadership content.
- Playing a key role in data quality initiatives for the firm’s marketing database, including updating outdated or missing information, researching mailing addresses for client gifting, and researching invalid or missing email addresses.
- Supporting the website team with tasks related to special projects and ad hoc requests to edit, review, and maintain website content on the firm’s external site while ensuring compliance with firm policy and adherence to firm style.
- Playing a key role in evaluating, testing, and launching new technologies and processes utilized by the Business Development team.
Education and Experience:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, 1-2 years of experience in a professional services environment is preferred, highlighting the importance of familiarity with a fast-paced, client-oriented setting.

Salary Information:
The expected base salary for the Assistant, Business Development - Digital Marketing position ranges from $65,000 to $70,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. The law firm offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
