Job Title: Senior Project Manager, eDiscovery Cyber Services

Job Responsibilities:

The role of Senior Project Manager, eDiscovery Cyber Services at the law firm involves managing eDiscovery processes for cyber incident response (CIR) matters and acting as a liaison with third-party providers. The responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with legal teams, vendors, and clients to develop and execute strategies for handling CIR matters from initial identification and analysis through notification and reporting.
- Providing legal teams and clients with effective CIR solutions through complex modeling, statistical sampling protocols, and strategic application of technology.
- Coordinating with forensic vendors, legal teams, and clients regarding the secure assessment and transfer of exfiltrated data to the eDiscovery platform.
- Leveraging scripting techniques to validate and compare activity logs of compromised systems.
- Coordinating with legal teams to analyze and document impact assessment results, classify sensitive data categories for further analysis, and consult on high impact sources containing sensitive data.
- Coordinating with legal teams and vendors to scope and define workstreams for review and extraction of sensitive data.
- Supporting data normalization, entity deduping, and notification and reporting workstreams.
- Performing customized reporting to create entity level and document level review metrics, including application of SQL queries to generate ad hoc reports.
- Preparing address validation matching queries to support implementation of data from address lookup vendors and clients’ IT systems.
- Working with data analysts to analyze entity notification lists for anomalies and near duplication by applying scripts to entity reports.
- Leveraging SQL and Excel techniques to support and respond to inquiries from legal teams, clients, and regulators.

Education and Experience Information:

- A is required.
- The candidate must have 5+ years of litigation support and eDiscovery experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience in managing cyber incident response matters is required.
- Proficiency in VBA and advanced Excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas) is necessary.
- Experience with applying technology and data mining techniques to identify and classify sensitive data is preferred but not required.
- Relativity certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with high-quality results under tight deadlines is required.
- Ability to closely adhere to procedures and exercise good judgment in sensitive and stressful situations is necessary.
- Ability to train, manage, and delegate while maintaining an active role in driving and completing tasks is important.
- Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support as necessary is expected.
