Job Responsibilities:
The General Director at the law firm is an executive-level position that closely resembles the roles of a COO and Controller. The primary responsibilities include:
- Leading the execution of the firm’s strategic goals and business plan.
- Managing all non-attorney personnel and overseeing daily firm operations.
- Handling HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Monitoring budgets, financial reports, and profitability metrics.
- Ensuring adherence to policies, compliance protocols, and risk controls.
- Improving systems for case management, billing, intake, marketing, and other operational areas.
- Delivering progress reports, KPI tracking, and executive updates to the Owner.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:
- Revenue and business growth aligned with the business plan.
- Achieving profit goals as outlined in the business plan.
- Cultivating an organizational culture focused on performance management.
- Ensuring 90% or more of project-based deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a professional services environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Proven managerial, HR, and project management experience.
- Strong expertise in operational, financial, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Availability to travel to Austin, TX.
Salary Information:
The compensation for the General Director position is $85,000 annually USD.
