Summary:
Law firm CCK is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Advocate/Paralegal to join their team. The position involves assisting with developing cases, conducting research, drafting arguments and appeals, and prioritizing and completing tasks in a timely manner for clients seeking life, health, and disability benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, review client files, and prepare assessments
- Draft development, claims, arguments, appeals, and motions for clients' cases
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Conduct interviews and draft declarations with clients and third parties
- Update case management files with pertinent information
- Attend training sessions and coordinate with team members
- Assist with training new team members
Requirements:
- High School degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of related experience preferred
- Fluency in English; Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and software
Compensation & Benefits:
- Budgeted starting annual salary of $42,500

Additional Details:
- Position can be onsite or remote in select states
