Holland & Knight, a leading global law firm, is seeking an IT Financial Applications Developer to join our team at our operations center in Brandon, FL. This is a unique hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work remotely and in-office as needed.

As an IT Financial Applications Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of our firm's custom financial applications. You will also assist with workflow development to improve efficiency and ensure the reliability and performance of these applications. This position requires collaboration with various departments, including Finance, IT, Business Intake, Privacy & Compliance, Legal and Risk, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems.

If you have a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience in financial applications development and support, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and support financial applications to ensure reliability, integrity, functionality, and performance
- Design and implement workflows for process automation in financial processes
- Integrate new business intake and conflicts into financial systems for seamless data flow and accuracy
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems
- Research, evaluate, implement, support, and maintain financial systems software
- Serve as a technical resource for project teams and provide creative solutions to complex financial systems issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in financial applications development and support
- Familiarity with workflow development and process automation tools
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
