Job Responsibilities
The Litigation Paralegal at the law firm will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Construction Defects department. Key duties include:
- Handling case intake by researching property records, providing pertinent details to docketing, and updating the database with claim information.
- Monitoring the Arbitration filings inbox and relaying deadlines to docketing.
- Communicating priority issues to attorneys and fellow paralegals.
- Submitting Process Server and Expert invoices in Chrome River and handling AAA invoices.
- Updating the claims database regularly.
- Performing other miscellaneous tasks and meeting daily deadlines.
- Consistently achieving a 1650 billable hour requirement, which includes approved non-billable time.

Education and Experience Information
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Paralegal or Assistant is preferred.
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is also preferred.

Salary Information

For the Litigation Paralegal position in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, the salary range is $62,100 to $86,900. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on factors such as education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at the law firm.
