Job Title: Specialist, Business Development & Marketing

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customized pitches, requests for proposals (RFPs), presentations, and marketing materials to support the Innovative Technology Sector's business development and marketing strategy.
- Assist in executing integrated profile-raising campaigns through various events such as conferences, seminars, webinars, and client entertainment. This includes coordinating logistics, invitations, website development, digital and social media, client-facing material production, response tracking, and follow-up communications.
- Create and distribute thought leadership materials, including client alerts and industry outlooks, through mass mailings, digital media postings, and internal newsletters and alerts.
- Update the law firm's customer relationship management (CRM) database by performing data entry, managing external mailings, and running reports.
- Identify and recommend sector memberships, sponsorships, and events that offer new sources for profile raising and lead generation. Assist lead attorneys in maximizing the benefits of these opportunities.
- Track the return on investment (ROI) of business development and marketing activities to assess their effectiveness.
- Write submissions for award programs and directories aligned with the Innovative Technology Sector.
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for deepening existing client relationships, expanding the client base, and increasing both external and internal visibility.
- Lead and support areas of focus within the sector.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a preference for degrees in marketing, business, or related fields.
- A minimum of three years of general marketing experience is required, preferably in a complex, consultative professional services organization.
- An understanding of the legal industry and/or the technology sector is desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or cooperatively as part of a team are essential.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail are required.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and see projects through to completion is important.

Salary Information:
- For Detroit, Miami, Milwaukee, Orlando, Salt Lake City, and Tampa: $68,300 to $95,600
- For Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Houston: $75,200 to $105,300
- For Los Angeles: $78,400 to $109,800
- For Boston and Washington .: $81,800 to $114,500
- The actual offered salary will be between the range minimum and midpoint, based on factors such as education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at the law firm.
