**Members Only**, a leading law firm in Michigan, is seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join our Legal Support Services (LSS) department. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of attorneys, paralegals, and staff in various practice areas, providing administrative and clerical support. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar office environment, with a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field preferred.
As a Legal Assistant at **Members Only**, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and providing exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include creating and editing complex legal documents, entering attorney time, proofreading, transcription, and organizing and executing mailings. You will also have the opportunity to learn and utilize new technology and software programs, such as iManage and e-filing systems, to enhance your skills and efficiency.
We are looking for someone with advanced skills in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel), with a typing speed of 60+ wpm and a high degree of accuracy. Familiarity with Power Point, Adobe, and other document management systems is preferred. The ability to communicate effectively and handle stressful situations in a professional, calm, and courteous manner is essential, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills. As a team player, you will have the opportunity to assist others and take on additional responsibilities when needed, and must be willing to work occasional overtime and Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to multiple attorneys, paralegals, and staff in various practice areas.

- Convert documents from PDF to Word.
- Proofread documents for grammar and spelling errors.
- Conduct digital transcription.
- Organize and execute mailings.
- Familiarity with e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Adapt to and learn new technology, software programs, and upgrades.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and staff.
- Handle stressful situations in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work in a team-oriented service environment and provide excellent service.

Qualifications:
