Job Title: Business Development Coordinator - (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the global Intellectual Property and Managed Care groups within the law firm. This position involves handling marketing administrative tasks and assisting with the implementation of business development initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Intellectual Property and Managed Care Business Development (BD) teams with projects and initiatives aimed at growing and promoting the practice groups.
- Maintaining strong working relationships and frequent communication with group leaders, attorneys, and related practice groups to support firm-wide business development activities.
- Organizing webinars, client seminars, firm events, and sponsorships, overseeing scheduling, logistics, and promotion. Collaborating with graphics and events teams to develop invitations and marketing materials, assisting attorneys with event-related content, and managing post-event follow-up as needed.
- Creating firm-branded PowerPoint presentations for client Continuing Legal Education (CLEs), attorney presentations, and internal meetings, ensuring consistency with firm standards.
- Managing attorney experience and client information within firm-wide experience databases and the client relationship management (CRM) system. Maintaining and updating practice group intranet sites as required.
- Editing and updating marketing materials, including practice area descriptions and attorney biographies, for print, website, and intranet publication. Facilitating posting updates to the firm website and intranet as needed.
- Developing agendas and presentations for group and strategy meetings, and preparing and distributing meeting summaries.
- Coordinating the preparation of pitch materials and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including creating and editing supporting documents.
- Assisting in the production and dissemination of thought leadership, including campaigns, podcasts, blogs, and client alerts.
- Working with related practice teams to draft and edit industry survey submissions and maintaining organized records of practice group accolades and awards.
- Managing the collection and production of internal marketing materials, including mailing lists, internal blogs, and capability documents, to support business development efforts.
- Performing all other duties as assigned. Job duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.

Education and Experience Information:
Education: A college degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.

Experience: One to three years of experience in a professional services marketing role is desirable but not required. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong writing ability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment is essential.

Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Technologically savvy and able to quickly learn new database systems.
- Extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and self-directed with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities under tight deadlines, sometimes with minimal oversight.
- Ability to demonstrate sound professional judgment and a high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
- Comfortable establishing effective firm-wide working relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Possess, and be willing to continue to develop, strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, and be flexible in approach.

Salary Information:
The position offers a pay range that varies based on location:
- Pittsburgh / Houston: $29 - $31 per hour
- Chicago: $31 - $34 per hour
