Job Title: Legal Wealth Advisor II
Job Responsibilities:
A Legal Wealth Advisor II is tasked with the origination and ongoing management of a profitable loan, deposit, fee income, and non-interest income portfolio from attorneys and small to mid-sized law firms. This involves developing and retaining long-term, profitable client relationships. The advisor is responsible for managing a book of clients, which typically generates in revenue, with a focus on family wealth relationships of tenured partners within client firms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing an annual business plan that incorporates marketing and client acquisition strategies alongside a service delivery plan for clients and prospects.
- Proactively generating new business through leads and referrals, marketing efforts, personal introductions from clients, and professional networking.
- Acting as the representative of the private practice within firm relationship teams for assigned firms.
- Identifying and channeling opportunities for clients and prospects while delivering the comprehensive resources of the bank.
- Leading the WRAP process for advice delivery, conducting relationship strategy sessions as needed, and delivering the Legal Specialty Group’s value proposition.
- Documenting all client interactions in a CRM system.

- Developing processes to mitigate risk, with an emphasis on operational, regulatory, and reputational environments.
- Fostering personal and professional growth through education seminars, conference attendance, and other continuing education activities.
Education and Experience Information:
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is necessary.
- Candidates should possess 5-7 years or more of banking experience in portfolio-oriented roles.
- FINRA Series 7, Series 66, Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses, and SAFE Act registration are required. Candidates must transfer or acquire all necessary registrations and licenses within 60-90 days from their start date.
- Extensive knowledge of banking products and services, as well as corporate and private banking arenas.
- The role requires meeting the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act.
- Proven success in acquiring new personal client relationships and meeting sales goals.
- A solid understanding of wealth management and financial planning for high net worth individuals and families.
- Strong consultative and client management skills with the ability to sell a wide range of products and services.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and client service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-faceted client mandates and coordinated relationship engagement teams.
- A solid understanding of the legal profession and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A CFP, CTFA, CDFA, or similar designation. An MBA or other advanced post-graduate degree is preferred.
