The Law Firm of Eckert Seamans is seeking a Director of Integration and Opportunity Management to join our team in either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA. This is a leadership role responsible for developing and implementing integration plans for lateral attorneys, group acquisitions, and promotional tracks. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in inclusion and integration, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, and diversity and inclusion certification or SHRM certification is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and evaluate integration plans for lateral attorneys, group acquisitions, and promotional tracks
• Coordinate regular check-ins and feedback sessions, while establishing benchmarks and milestones for successful integration
• Build internal networks and identify cross-practice introductions and collaboration opportunities
• Manage and implement inclusion growth opportunities aligned with firm values
• Lead the Inclusion Counsel and Inclusion Ambassadors
• Provide counsel and guidance on inclusion matters
• Collaborate with all administrative and legal areas of the firm to integrate various inclusion programming
• Manage inclusion and integration budgets
• Prepare and manage the annual inclusion report
• Oversee and monitor charitable/philanthropic initiatives and budget
• Identify, review, and assess philanthropic partnerships and nonprofit opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing to integrate PR opportunities into philanthropic initiatives
• Facilitate and track donation and sponsorship requests
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 8 years of inclusion and/or integration related experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization
• Diversity & Inclusion Certification and/or SHRM certification preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership skills and creative thinking
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
• Demonstrated change management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office365 and Microsoft Teams (preferred)
• iManage experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Occasional prolonged periods of standing
• Ability to lift and carry at least 15 pounds, stand, and ambulate
Travel Expectation:
• Less than 30%
