Job Title: Probate + Estate Administration Associate

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage your own set of files, taking full responsibility for their progress and resolution.
- Collaborate with the Department Head on joint cases, providing support and sharing expertise.
- Possibly host Estate Planning document signings at satellite offices, ensuring client needs are met.
- Conduct potential client phone consultations, offering initial guidance and information.

Details on some Tasks for Estate Administration:
- Filing the Register of Wills or Surrogate Petition and Inventory to initiate the probate process.
- Collecting Assets, ensuring accurate valuation and documentation for estate purposes.
- Filing Tax Returns related to the estate, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Selling real estate and businesses as part of estate liquidation or distribution.
- Settling Creditor Claims, negotiating and resolving outstanding debts of the estate.
- Working with problem heirs, mediating disputes and facilitating agreements.
- Obtaining the Executor’s critical Release of Liability documentation to protect from future claims.

Education and Experience Information:
- Ideally seeking candidates with 1-2+ years of experience in related fields, although the firm is willing to train the right candidate.
- A Pennsylvania (PA) law license is required, with a preference for candidates also licensed in New Jersey (NJ).
- This role is suitable for individuals recently out of law school with an interest in probate and estate administration.

Salary Information:
- The position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 per year, as provided by the employer.
- Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan, dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, professional development assistance, and vision insurance.

Work Environment:
- The law firm offers a hybrid work schedule, with 1 to 2 in-office days per week, ideally including Thursday.
- Support is provided by 2 paralegals within the Probate Department and 1 administrator.

Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Ability to Commute or Relocate:
