Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interactions with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, ensuring a customer-focused and empathetic approach.
- Order and manage medical records from providers, maintaining communication with clients and healthcare providers throughout the treatment process.
- Obtain necessary documentation to support injury and/or liability positions.
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and work to reduce outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborate with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintain organized case files and prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers.
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the business needs.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- Possess strong negotiating skills and the ability to be a team player while following procedures.
- Demonstrate proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, capable of juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with typing skills of no less than 35 wpm.
