Job Title: Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, editing, preparing, proofing, redlining, and managing correspondences and agreements related to sports and entertainment. This includes agreements for independent contractors, talent, marketing, media, multimedia, content, licenses, performance, services, non-disclosure agreements, and other agreements under attorney supervision.
- Update various contract templates as directed by attorneys.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Maintain department trackers, coordinate approval processes, and update contract databases.
- Utilize electronic signature tools (such as Adobe eSign), calendaring applications, and contract management systems to ensure documents are properly inputted, executed, distributed, renewed, and stored.
- Serve as the custodian of all executed agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
- Perform other general legal and administrative responsibilities as requested and necessary.
- Act as a liaison between legal and business teams for weekly status updates.
- Provide administrative support, including the maintenance of calendars, expense reports, and handling of copying, filing, and phone duties.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, specifically in a contracts/transactional support role.
- Knowledge of or willingness to watch current and historical **Members Only** programming.
- Strong skills with PCs and programs, including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Concur.
- Proficiency in reading contracts and understanding and synthesizing key contractual terms for entry into a contract database system.
- Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment, often under urgent deadlines.
- Capability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player within the Legal Affairs department.
- Willingness to work outside traditional work hours for urgent matters.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Sports and Entertainment legal work.
- Juris Doctor degree but comfortable working in a paralegal role.
- Paralegal certificate.
- Active CT Notary Public certification.
