Summer associate program

The summer associate program at Linklaters is pretty much comprehensive for the associates where they will learn about taking real responsibility, and get access to multiple practice groups. Each summer associate will be assigned with associate mentor and a partner for answering questions. Summer associates can also make the most of social activities. There is a dedicated training program which includes comprehensive sessions related to the firm's main areas of practice run by partners or senior associates. The offices which offer summer seats for law students in the US are New York, London and Hong Kong. Most work assignments are then coordinated by workflow coordinators who are mostly senior associates and partners. Summer associates will be given a chance to participate in pro bono projects too. A wide array of events is held for helping out partners and associates to meet and learn more about each other. The summer program is famous for its three-day London Retreat where associates are flown to London for educational sessions and social events. Presentations, roundtable discussions, commercial tours and a flagship formal dinner event are included in the trip. There are two formal review opportunities within the program too. The summer associate program is only open to second-year law students studying in US and hiring is done from the New York office.

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing was probably the best legal board I have used. I liked the layout and it was user friendly. I tried to use another job board, but it was not user friendly and was kind of a pain, whereas LawCrossing was easy to use to find jobs. I really liked it. I would certainly recommend this site and service to my colleagues.
