Job Title: Case Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle cases in the Pre-Litigation phase while maintaining open communication with clients, providers, and internal teams.
- Review, analyze, and expedite cases, assigning tasks to legal assistants.
- Engage daily with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers via phone, email, or in-person.
- Ensure cases are updated with all necessary information, including treatment details, records, bills, insurance coverages, and liens.
- Confirm that all medical providers have insurance information for billing, verify balances, and request and process PIP logs.
- Monitor deadlines to ensure timely case progression and prevent unnecessary delays.
- Review, upload, and process daily correspondence received via email, fax, or through paperless software.
- Oversee case progress by reviewing and expediting files.
- Supervise and assign tasks to pre-litigation assistants.
- Prepare demands and closing statements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Position requires a minimum of one year of office experience.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking skills are necessary, along with being highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work at a fast pace with a heavy case volume, managing 300-400 cases.
