Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced Claims Examiner or Associate Claims Examiner for personal lines claims at **Members Only** in Wayne, PA
- Responsible for coverage analysis, investigation, and file management for unique and challenging claims
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as technical knowledge of insurance coverage and negligence law, required
- 2+ years of relevant experience for Associate Claims Examiner, 7+ years for Claims Examiner
- Personal lines experience, multi-jurisdictional knowledge, advanced degrees/JD a plus

Essential Functions:
- Confirm coverage by reviewing first notice of loss and policy language
- Conduct thorough investigation, including securing facts, statements, and documents
- Manage file activity and maintain accurate reserves
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, underwriting, and actuary
- Adhere to established claim service promises and respond promptly to inquiries
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support customer service by responding promptly to phone and email inquiries
- Complete special projects as needed
- Enroll in continuing education to maintain state licenses and support professional and personal development
- Travel may be required for mediations and court hearings
