The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. law firm is seeking a Practice Development Coordinator with 3+ years of relevant experience in professional services, preferably in a law firm setting. This full-time position involves providing business development and marketing support to the firm's Marketing Department and assigned Corporate Practice Group. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational and project management skills, as well as a drive for learning about corporate transactions and developing new marketing initiatives. The position may be filled in various locations, including Illinois, Oregon, California, Colorado, and North Carolina, with a salary range of - per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinating key business development initiatives and taking ownership from inception through implementation
- Assisting with the execution of marketing and business development strategies, projects, and events
- Tracking and following up on specific efforts
- Assisting with directory, award, and ranking submissions
- Developing and preparing customized materials for prospect/client presentations
- Conducting industry, prospect, firm experience, and competitor research
- Updating and keeping current the firm's practice development information and materials
- Planning, coordinating, and managing practice-specific events, webinars, proposals, and communications
- Developing relationships with lead partners in the practice areas
- Traveling to other cities and firm offices, as needed
- Performing other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in professional services, preferably a law firm
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a wide range of executive level support duties
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Professionalism, flexibility, and advanced capability in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Foundation or other law firm experience or knowledge management platforms (preferred)
- Enthusiasm and a drive for learning about corporate transactions and developing new marketing initiatives
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and writing skills
