Overview:
The Manager of Legal Recruitment at Fox Rothschild will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for law students, summer associates, lateral associates, and counsel firm-wide. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package and can be based in one of ten office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entry-level recruitment cycle, including resume screening, callback interviews, and offer discussions.
- Attend law school campus events to increase visibility and develop relationships with key contacts at targeted schools.
- Oversee the summer associate program, organizing events and trainings, ensuring access to assignments, and conducting evaluations.
- Coordinate the orientation and integration of summer associates into the Firm.
- Track and analyze results of the Summer Associate class to inform future recruiting strategies.
- Guide candidates and hiring partners through the recruitment process.
- Manage the lateral recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Ensure due diligence is conducted for all potential hires.
- Draft offer letters and ensure compliance with hiring policies and guidelines.
- Analyze recruiting trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, law schools, search firms, and legal industry colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum five years of experience in legal recruitment.
- Prior experience with entry-level recruiting, callbacks, and summer associate programs.
- Experience managing and delegating to others across different time zones.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, viDesktop, and Flo Recruit preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with Firm leadership.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Occasional travel required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This is a full-time position in a clerical, office setting. The employee will regularly use standard office equipment and may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 20-50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position varies by location and takes into account factors such as experience, education, and market demands. The estimated salary ranges are as follows:
- Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis: $115,000 to $155,000
- Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, .: $125,000 to $165,000
- New York City, San Francisco: $135,000 to $175,000
