Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day workflow of attorneys' matters and serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys.
- Manage attorney calendars, e-mail traffic, phone calls, and mail.
- File case documents, retrieve case files, and prepare files for closing in accordance with department procedures.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy closing binders and amendment binders.
- Arrange team conference calls as directed and make travel arrangements as needed.
- Handle payment of matter-related invoices and attorney expense reports via ChromeRiver.
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as requested, such as entering attorney’s time and maintaining/organizing paper files.
Education and Experience Information:
- Requires a minimum of three to five or more years of litigation assistant experience.
- Preferred experience in e-filing, time entry and billing software (Elite), and expense reimbursement software (ChromeRiver).
- Strong aptitude for technology and learning new systems.
- Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
