About the Role:

The Assistant General Counsel, Labor & Employment will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws across all aspects of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s operations. This position reports to the General Counsel and offers opportunities to support other legal functions within the company. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a growth mindset to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and guidance to the executive team and management on all labor and employment matters affecting the company.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across all employment aspects of the company's operations.
- Work collaboratively with HR, operations, and finance teams to implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor and employment law.
- Counsel HR team on employee disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s internal training programs for restaurant leadership about employment law and practice.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the company's interests and minimize legal risks.
- Handle and resolve employment practices legal disputes or litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations, and provide proactive advice and recommendations.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
