Job Title: Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal guidance across employment law matters globally, including the ., EMEA, Europe, and Australia.
- Serve as the lead legal partner to HR on day-to-day employment-related matters, such as employee relations, investigations, terminations, performance management, and compensation practices.
- Interpret and implement employment policies to ensure alignment with local laws and global consistency goals.
- Lead the strategy and relationship management with external counsel, providing oversight to ensure business-focused legal advice.
- Support global compliance with evolving labor regulations, including wage and hour laws, remote work, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), contractor classification, and workplace safety.
- Manage employment disputes, litigation, and pre-litigation matters across various jurisdictions.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders, particularly HR and business leaders, on employment law trends and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with the broader legal team on cross-functional matters that impact employment, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), privacy, and intellectual property (IP).
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where flexibility and proactive problem-solving are essential.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in employment law, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house experience at a multinational company.
- Strong working knowledge of . and international labor and employment laws, including those in the US, Europe, EMEA, and Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to lead outside counsel and confidently challenge legal advice when appropriate.
- Hands-on experience advising HR teams and company leadership on practical legal solutions.
- Ability to work across time zones, including outside of standard business hours.
- An agile, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
- Applicants must be based in the . Eastern or Central Time Zones to ensure effective collaboration with our legal, HR, and leadership teams.
Salary Information:
- Generous salary between $110,000 and $130,000.
