Job Title: Case Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plaintiff's Workers' Compensation/Personal Injury Case Manager/Paralegal to join their busy small law firm. The responsibilities for this role include:
- Managing a case load of 75-100 cases, working individually while also contributing to a team environment.
- Transcribing dictation into Word/Word Perfect, with a typing speed of 50-60 words per minute.
- Preparing demand packages, drafting motions and pleadings, and preparing cases for trial.
- Scheduling and calendaring with precision, including arranging depositions and other necessary appointments.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Utilizing case management software, preferably Time Matters, although this is not a strict requirement.
- Demonstrating excellent organizational and computer skills.
- Communicating effectively with strong verbal and written skills.
- Bilingual abilities are considered a plus but are not mandatory.
Education and Experience Information:
The position does not require a Paralegal degree, making it accessible for those with relevant experience but without formal certification. However, the candidate must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in either Plaintiff's Workers' Compensation or Personal Injury. This experience is crucial for handling the responsibilities of the role effectively.
Salary Information:
The position offers competitive wages with a salary range of $39,000 to $42,000 per year, as estimated by the employer. This salary range is based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Additionally, the law firm provides several benefits, including:
