Job Title: Trademark Practice Group Support Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

- Trademark Renewal Coordination: The candidate will serve as the lead coordinator for the timely filing of foreign trademark renewals. This involves direct communication with foreign associates and international agents to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Portfolio Management: The role requires the development and maintenance of client-specific trademark portfolio reports. The candidate will respond to client requests, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all communications.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and foreign counsel, the candidate will promote effective and timely communication to facilitate smooth operations.
- Technical Proficiency: The candidate will learn and utilize law firm and third-party technologies to streamline portfolio tracking and reporting functions.
- Budget Tracking: Supporting budgeting processes related to trademark filings and renewals, including providing cost estimates and tracking invoices.
- Time Entry: Accurately recording and tracking time for billing purposes is a key responsibility.
- Document Support: Utilizing Microsoft Office tools to format, edit, and manage documents and reports as needed.

Education and Experience Information:

Required:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating international trademark renewals, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Ability to manage complex trademark portfolios for clients across multiple industries.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to handle shifting priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Initiative and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including formatting, styles, tables, and formulas.
- Flexibility to adjust hours as necessary to support team and client needs.

Preferred:
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with USPTO and WIPO procedures (though this role focuses on foreign filings).
- Prior experience working with legal technology and third-party trademark docketing/reporting tools.

Salary Information:

- Salary range is $68,000 to $82,000.
