Job Title: Business Development Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Business Development Coordinator at the law firm is responsible for contributing to the firm's revenue growth and enhancing the client experience by executing marketing and business development strategies. The coordinator must manage a vast database of firm experience records and industry information to support internal and external education on the firm's capabilities. Key responsibilities include drafting and customizing proposal content to comply with RFP guidelines, analyzing industry research to identify market trends, editing experience records and attorney profiles, and supporting Business Development Managers and Specialists. This support extends to implementing business development plans, executing pitches and proposals, conducting competitive intelligence research, managing budgets, and coordinating sponsorship and conference strategies. The coordinator works closely with the marketing team to maximize the impact of investments.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in business development or three years in marketing within a law firm, professional services, or financial services firm. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for specialization in marketing, legal, finance, or business administration. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with research and client/contact databases are required. The position also requires the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
