Job Title: Business Center Specialist - (Remote): 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM ET

Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and formatting documents from handwritten or marked-up documents, pdfs, or audio formats, including memos, letters, charts, check requests, briefs, pleadings, agreements, deeds, leases, benefit plans, and other documents.
- Creating and formatting Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Table of Authorities (TOA), and Table of Contents (TOC).
- Revising previously created documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Accurate entering of timekeeper time entry into the accounting system as requested.
- Receiving and distributing electronic faxes.
- Database entry, editing, sorting, and reporting.
- Scanning and saving documents to Digital File, using Adobe Acrobat and other file formats such as tif, gif, and jpg.
- Proofreading.
- Updating contact lists.
- Creating electronic books/manuals using Adobe Acrobat.
- Transcribing digital dictation using various applications.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: High School diploma or its equivalent. College-level classes or business school preferred.
- Experience: Two years of experience with Microsoft Word applications. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Knowledge of Mandarin, French, and/or German is a plus.

Skills:
- Strong typing (80 wpm), formatting, and proofreading skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to decipher various handwriting styles.
- High level of concentration to work on lengthy documents.
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work products and meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow specific and detailed instructions.

Other Information:
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None
- Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.

Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, with intense eye usage, and finger, hand, and wrist dexterity associated with prolonged computer use.
- Ability to utilize technology, including computers and telecommunication devices.
- Ability to read and interpret written documents, computer screens, and other visual displays accurately.
- Ability to work long days and/or firm holidays as required.

Working Conditions: Works in a typical office setting and/or remotely. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of the normal daily schedule.

Salary Information:
- This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the law firm’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
