Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze documents and engage in case planning and preparation.
- Draft legal documents pertinent to estate planning and business transactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a superior service experience.
- Conduct legal research to support case development and document drafting.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time for attorneys and clients.
- Oversee electronic file management to maintain organized and accessible records.
- Assist with deeds and client estate planning binders.
- Engage in marketing efforts, including setting up speaking engagements and identifying community events for firm participation.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in estate planning and business law.
- An Associate's degree or paralegal certification is a plus.
- Must possess experience in drafting estate planning and business documents using Wealth Counsel.
- Familiarity with OR & WA trust and probate codes is essential.
- Real estate and intellectual property experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as OneDrive, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with legal software like Lawmatics, Clio, DecisionVault, and LawPay is beneficial.
- Must have experience with Wealth Docx; experience with Wealth Tracx, Business Docx, Elder Docx, or Trustate is a plus.
- Strong business communication skills are required.
- Experience with customer service and the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and solve problems efficiently.
Salary Information:
- The position offers a part-time salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
- The role is expected to cover approximately 20 hours per week.

Schedule:
- The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, with an expected hybrid remote work location in Camas, WA.
