Job Title: Paralegal FIG Real Estate - (Hybrid Schedule)
Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal FIG Real Estate position at the law firm involves providing legal and general support to the firm's attorneys and their clients under general supervision, while adhering to established policies and procedures. The role requires maintaining a positive relationship with attorneys, support staff, clients, and vendors, and upholding the confidentiality of client and firm matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and other due diligence documents for loans secured by commercial real estate.
- Managing and organizing closings for loans secured by commercial real estate.
- Handling multi-state commercial loan transactions.
- Reviewing and analyzing entity organizational documents, corporate certificates, consents, and resolutions.
- Coordinating the recordation of mortgages, amendments, deeds, easements, and other recordable instruments.
- Performing necessary follow-up for all post-closing matters, including finalizing closing binders and reviewing final title insurance policies, recorded documents, and original documents.
- Reviewing, preparing, and filing UCC financing statements and UCC terminations/amendments.
- Preparing closing checklists and settlement statements.
- Demonstrating high motivation and self-starting abilities.
- Interacting well with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Exhibiting excellent organizational, writing, and proofreading skills.
- Tracking and meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: An undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of real estate legal experience is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, ability to organize and prioritize issues and workload, and capability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

- Equipment to be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.
- Essential Job Functions: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes and challenges, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, solutions-oriented thinking, ability to read and interpret written documents and computer screens accurately, and use of independent judgment and discretion.
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three full days per week in the office. Specific scheduling details will be discussed with the direct supervisor. Occasional extended hours may be needed to meet business needs.
