Education:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school required

- Familiarity with computer hardware and software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform legal research and read law-related materials
- Ability to compose orders and memoranda

Summary:

The Maryland Judiciary is seeking a Law Clerk to provide legal support to a judge in various locations throughout the state. The Law Clerk will conduct legal research, review motions and court files, draft memoranda, and attend court proceedings as requested. The position requires a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school, with prior legal writing experience preferred. The salary ranges from $63,119 to $70,120 and the position is exempt from FLSA. This is a regular/temporary, full-time, at-will position with no financial disclosure required.
