Job Title:
Division General Counsel - Labor and Employment

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts and other commercial agreements, policies, handbooks, and documents related to employment matters.
- Advise management and human resources on employment-related issues, including hiring, termination, discipline, compensation, benefits, leaves, accommodations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblowing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OSHA, and WARN.
- Conduct internal investigations and audits on employment-related matters, preparing reports and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver trainings and presentations on employment law topics to management and employees.
- Manage employment litigation and arbitrations on behalf of the company, including coordinating with outside counsel for complaints, discovery requests, motions, subpoenas, and attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlements.
- Monitor and update the company on developments and trends in employment law and best practices.
- Manage and coordinate with outside counsel and vendors as needed.

- Champion continuous improvement and quality control efforts to innovate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
- Continuously learn and develop professionally.

- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in any state.
- 15+ years of employment law and relevant experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
