Willkie is seeking a highly qualified Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Associate to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex compensation and benefits matters, including those related to large change in control transactions. We are looking for someone with 2-7 years of experience and a strong background in executive compensation and employee benefits. Key Responsibilities:
• Work on complex compensation and benefits matters, including those related to large change in control transactions such as public and private equity transactions, bankruptcies, asset sales, IPOs, and financings
• Assist with the representation of public companies in connection with the disclosure of executive compensation
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to executive compensation and employee benefits
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on a variety of compensation and benefits issues
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients
Qualifications:
• 2-7 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits
• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience representing public companies in connection with executive compensation disclosure preferred
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
