Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
The Public Relations Coordinator will be a vital member of the law firm's public relations team. Under the guidance of the Senior Public Relations Manager, the coordinator will support firmwide external communications. Key responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases on various topics such as new laterals, promotions, events, rankings, and deals. The coordinator will assist in placing attorney-authored articles in relevant journals and publications, work with lawyers to pitch story ideas that result in positive media coverage, and respond to media inquiries. Building and maintaining media lists and editorial calendars, tracking media coverage, and preparing coverage reports are also essential duties. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with other projects managed by the public relations team as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing roles, ideally in a professional services environment or PR agency. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for majors in communications, journalism, or public relations. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team is essential. Solid experience in pitching stories to the media and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. Experience with AI tools is also valuable.

Salary Information:
This position may be filled in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, or New York City. The base salary ranges for this position are as follows, though individual compensation will depend on qualifications and experience:
